Solution: While maintaining MLA's existing brand aesthetic, the market intel report uses infographics to display the year's information.

Objective: To redesign Granola Girl’s brand identity to convey the heart and soul of her fledgling brand.
Solution: While maintaining Granola Girl's existing brand colour, the new mandala design is based off of April's soul blueprint and highlights the ingredients.

Fibral
Packaging - Neighbourhood Brand Ltd
Objective: To redesign traditional Chinese fibre supplements to highlight the all natural aspects and premium nature of the product and to stand out from the standard pastels and messaging heavy packaging of competitors
Solution: Raw kraft cardboard was paired with silver foil to convey the quality and purity of the product. Clean and simple typography was used to allow the packaging to appeal to both users who seek out the product as a medical aid and those who use it for more casual personal care.

Burly Barber
Brand Identity - Neighbourhood Brand Ltd
Objective: To develop a brand identity for Burly Barber, a barbershop that caters to a gay clientele but is still inviting to a straight man.
Solution: Burly Barber's core invokes a strong, masculine and refined look. The clean and defined logo mimics the aspect of slick back hair, while the bear icon draws heritage towards gay culture.

Objective: To redesign the Pole & Line™ packaging into the new Ocean's Brand packaging.
Solution: The packaging emulates the existing Ocean's Canned Tuna but maintains a distinct graphic to help differentiate between the two kinds.

Hani Honey Sticks
Packaging - Student Project
Objective: To redesign honey packaging to enhance the functionality as well as the aesthetics.
Solution: The honey is packaged in sticks to eliminate the sticky mess of spooning honey from a jar and the compact design fits nicely in a workspace and/or purse.

Meili
Brand Identity - Student Project
Objective: To brand the new women’s clothing line, Meili. The line will be a special feature within retail stores for a limited time only.
Solution: Meili is derived from the Chinese word meaning beautiful. The pronunciation of the name is mai lee, which is similar to the word melee. The connection between the two words ties both the beauty (meili) and the raw (melee), which encompasses the look and feel of the clothing.

Objective: To design an environmentally sensitive package for to-go sushi.
Solution: Each component of the packaging serves a specific purpose, thus minimizing the waste and maximizing the functionality.

Locale Sandwich Bar
Brand Identity - Student Project
Objective: To brand Locale, a sandwich deli shop that produces locally fresh and customizable sandwiches.
Solution: A friendly logo suggests the shape of a sandwich, the stationery embodies the trappings of a butcher's shop, the sauce packaging is named for local Kitsilano streets, and a mobile application provides a convenient way to order sandwiches on the go.

Sylvia Hotel
Brand Identity - Student Project
Objective: To rebrand the Sylvia Hotel as the destination hotel in Vancouver and to reposition it from a good value to a premium value.
Solution: An updated and contemporary logo that embodies the Sylvia's Hotel current logo. It draws inspiration from the Virginia vines covering majority of the hotel.
